This Workshop series focused on Connecting People, Place, & Opportunity. Where are the county’s job centers, where are the concentrations of workers and housing, and what are the connections between them? This series also considered how we can use the catalytic tools in places2040 to implement our goals.

 Part 1 – Jobs, Housing, and Transportation Analysis

 The purpose of this analysis is to show:

• Where there are concentrations of jobs and housing
• Where these concentrations coincide – and where jobs outnumber housing or vice versa
• What the commuting patterns are
• How the policies and tools in places2040 and other countywide plans can be implemented to improve the connections between jobs and housing
