Municipal Projects

Lancaster County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is seeking candidate projects to include in the upcoming 2027-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a list of transportation projects spanning a four-year period. To learn more, visit Upcoming Projects: The TIP.

Municipalities with transportation needs are encouraged to submit candidate projects for inclusion in the TIP. Municipal needs can be submitted through our online submission portal, which is the same platform municipalities use for Subdivision and Land Development (S/LD) Plans and Community Plan, Map, and Ordinance (CPO) submissions.

Deadline

Please submit your municipal transportation needs through our online submission portal by Tuesday, July 1, 2025. The final list of transportation projects will be approved by the MPO in the summer of 2026.
