The Lancaster County Planning Commission celebrated the 2021 places2040 Planning Leadership Award Winners at event held in June 2021 at the Farm & Home Center. The awards are a way to recognize organizations, projects, and individuals in the county that are meeting the goals of places2040, the Lancaster County Comprehensive Plan. There were 10 award winners – 7 projects and 3 individuals.

These awards are specifically designed to recognize planning projects which demonstrate leadership and effectiveness in implementing places2040, the Lancaster County Comprehensive Plan, during the last three years (2018-2020).
